- Thanks for your comments. By "MIME message" it means an RCC-822
- message as enhanced by RFC1341, but with of ocurse the possibility of 8 bit
- transmission. Something which we may want to add for this is a length
- header field which MIME only allows on external, not internal, body parts.
- We should sheck out the STMP 8 bit extensions which I am not sufficiently
- knowledgable about.

- No, base64 encodeing will not be necessary. We have to decide
- which MIME features may be sent without any permission from the client
- but I imagine that all MIME encodings should be understood, but
- only text/plain and text/html are required to be understood a priori.
